Very sentimental show but the singing was just outstanding. This has to be the best episode we have seen so far in this season. We need more :)

I could not stop crying after listening to Abhilasha’s Song. She is a wonderful singer. This song made me very homesick. I live in U.S. I lost my father a year back and I could not go home. I am very close to my family, especially my Mom.
I just cannot put into words how touching each performance was. Just made me wish to fly home right away.

Hi Sniti, I am big fun of you. This week you did excellent. You sang very well, your confidence gone up tremendously, you were more consistent. More ever you have had smile on your cute face. Your dress was so beautiful, your style was fantastic. You look like Bollywood star. You deserve it to be praised a lot. Keep going like this, be careful on your song selection. You sang Nasrat Feteh Ali Khan’s song this week, which is very difficult for men but you did it good girl. Make sure to work harder on your appearance when you are performing in the future, choose beautiful dresses every time like this week. It is very important for performers. People would like you and vote for your appearance too. Do not forget that.
This week every one of contestants was very good, Khoram, Alisher and all other truly sang emotionally and beautifully. If I could vote for all of them I would. God bless them all.

Everybody did such a good job, but Bishakh, kamal and Sher Ali’s songs toched my heart. while listening to them, I was in tears. While Bishakh was singing, I was thinking of my mother who is no more and I just kept crying. God bless you all and it will be very difficult to see one of them leave next week. I just hope that it is not Sher Ali as he was one of the best this week and did so well on both days.The upbringing of all the contestants is commendable. What I also like about then is the bond among them. They seem to belong to only one team. Again, May god bless you all. Kya Sanskar Hain.

Some comments about Sniti are really funny!! She is good, and one of my favorites, but come on guys/gals, she doesn’t deserve this much praise. Reason1, she is not versatile. She sang ‘Mora Saiyan’ amazing, but some faster and very simple songs were complete disaster. Only this one reason is enough to open the eyes of some big fans of hers on this forum. From their comments, it seems they are more in love with her than her voice. Abhilasha and Sugandha are much better than her. Abhilasha needs a longer attention span, and Sugandha’s voice is typical in the sense that sometimes it’s difficult to hear words clearly. Overall, Kamal is the best among all. He sang very difficult songs of Sukhvinder/Rahat/Wadali Brithers/Shaan, etc. and if you compare his songs with original ones, you’ll agree that he sang better or as good as original. Bishakh is coming around, too. Last week, Khurram’s performance was probably the best, it suited his voice texture.
It’s very interesting to see how often people on this forum say how good Sniti Mishra is but give explanations why she shouldn’t become the winner of this contest, why the other contestants are much better than her.
Actually for Sniti becoming the winner of this contest is not the issue anymore since she has already won much more than this, she won the hearts of millions of viewers around the world, the magic in her voice makes you listen to her again and again. The other contestants just like many of previous SRGMP shows are waiting for a break from a music director or already got one chance already, didn’t make it big,now no one talks about them anymore.
Sniti with her unique, heart touching voice is not depending on a music director, even her own album will be a big hit, because people want to just hear her voice.

Agreed, she has a unique voice, but if you had paid attention to Vishal Bhardwaj’s comment, the same uniqueness of her voice can her biggest weakness!! Aruna, have you ever heard Chhaya Ganguli? Google for her songs, and listen to those. You will get my point. Well, she did good and like me, there must be thousands of devoted fans of her, but not ‘millions’. Asha Bhonsle is nothing compared to Chhaya Ganguli, as far as ‘dard’ in the voice go, or uniqueness go – Sniti’s strength. However, except that part, the variety of songs Ashaji could sing, and did sing, did the trick. That’s why she has ‘millions’ of fans. If Sniti wants to sing for her own soul, or a few people like you, me, and Asif on this forum, she doesn’t need to do anything. But I doubt she’ll be a commercial success, if she doesn’t improve. On the other hand, look at Kamal. There isn’t any song in any episode (right through auditions), that you wouldn’t like. His singing is not only soulful, it’s versatile, too. That’s recipe for success!!

srgmp, start listening with some attention to Tu Maaney Ya Na Maaney Dildara sung last week by Kamal KHan and please stop praising this man. It’s just that fans of Sniti aren’t trying to be negative about the other contestants to influence their fans,unlike people like you. If I find that Kamal khan sings monotonous and depresses me why should I start crying about that on the forum, like you would have done?

spot on! you hit the nail in the head. What ever anyone says, to me, Sniti is a ‘nasal singer’ (like Himesh Reshamiya)’. *Some of Sniti’s fans* here might be under *regional influence* than her singing capabilities.
I am totally agree with aruna. There are so many versatile singers you can find but a singer with original and unique voice is difficult to find. Sniti you are really the best among all . You are differnt from all.Other singers like sugandha,kamal and abhilasha’s tone and voice are just like other singers but they dont have the freshness in their voice like you .Your voice can attract someone to some fresh world.That is your power of singing.Keep it up .Sniti you are really a true super star.
Sniti does have a *unique* voice ….more like Himesh Reshamiya. Doesn’t make her better than others. Just have a look at the classical knowledge\abilities of Sugandha. As SRGMP said, she may be able to attract\influence a selective crowd but not a mass.
Aruna, I’ can not do anything but feel sorry for you, if you couldn’t appreciate ‘Tu Mane Ya Na Mane..’!! Let’s see who goes out first – Kamal or Sniti. And if both stay till end, let’s see who gets ahead.

My view has probably been blown out of proportion, thanks to Aruna. I want to clear the air. I like Sniti, too, as I have already expressed. But you have to be realistic. I was just trying to give constructive comments about Sniti. She is very simple, nice, and likeable, but this contest is not about that. Her singing really needs work. In my view (Aruna, I am not trying to ‘draft’ people, please), Kamal/Abhilasha/Sugandha shuold win in that order. It’s a toss between Sugandha/Bishakh for third place. Dev, you are right, Mampee should have been there in top 8. Let’s keep an eye on results.
I think dev You have forgotten about rahat fhateali khan who ahs also his own original voice.Whatever songs he has tried till now no body can do this now a days. Like this what ever the songs sniti has tried till now it is impossible to sing for others like her. Breave attempt Sniti. Yor are better than all others.
Himesh Resh miya’s voice and sniti’s voice is totally different .Do not compre both. Nusrat fateh alikhan also famous for his voice.can u copmare him with others? So stop these type of nonsene comments
Mind it there are some great singers who are famous for unique voice although they are not versatile singers.

Samar, please don’t give undue credit to Sniti. Rahat is phenomenal. Sniti is too limited as of now, and hence words ‘her singing really needs work’.
On the other hand, please listen to Kamal’s songs again (and compare with original), where he sang Rahat’s songs. He is very close – that, too, LIVE.
You also please stop giving credit to kamal,abhlasa and sugandha. Sniti is also phenomanal. Yes she needs to work to be the best.Not only she ,kamal,sugandha and abhilasa needs also.Talking about limitations as of now all the contestants are not complete singers they also have lot of limitations and all of them also need to work hard.

By the way, Kamal got ‘POD’ today for the third time, he got second highest votes, Sniti was horrible today. Bishakh got highest votes, rightfully so, for his last week’s performance. Abhilasha was ‘unsafe’ for the first time. She needs to choose right songs for herself, like Lata’s memorable songs. Khurram got out based on last week’s performance, shockingly, as I think his last week’s performance was the the best – even better than Bishakh and Kamal. Bishakh’s was second best, but looks like he got sympothy vote. Sugandha is getting ordinary. Tomorrow’s performances will be interesting!

Again, I like Sniti.
She is great for some songs, like ‘Mora Sainya mose bole na..’, ‘Joothe naina bole..’, and of course ‘Mora Saiyan to hai pardes..’ during auditions. These were top-class. I would have voted for her for these songs, if they were part of public-vote episodes.
But ‘Hamen Tumse pyar kitna…’, ‘Tere Bina Jindagi se koi..’, today’s song were extremely ordinary.
I wish she does great, and she grows to be among first three – only on merit of her talent – not because she is too nice, simple, and likable. All the contestants have been putting lot of efforts, working hard, so it would be unfair to other singers.
Abhilasha needs to develop longer attention span, and choose good songs, otherwise, despite being deserving, she will have hard time progressing. Sometimes, it seems, she gets tired of concentrating towards the end.
Sugandha also makes bad choices for songs. She has great control on her voice and a lot of learning to back that up, but her voice is not so sweet, so she, too, will need to work hard to hide that weakness.
Mampee should have been there before all three girls, because she had all the qualities these three girls are lacking.
Ranjeet did so bad last week, I thought, he would go this week. He is too young, and his voice has not matured, yet, compared to other contestants at this point. I hope, he doesn’t get worn out prematurely. He should have gone, instead of Khurram. But I think, people just can’t go beyond religion and borders. I am Indian and Hindu, but I would vote for the best performance, regardless of either. Kamal obviously is my most favorite, but I voted for Khurram last week. Was so sad to see him go despite a great performance last week. Too classical for the mass, I guess.
Sniti is fabulous, she has a beautiful, unique, heart touching voice, she’s the best, versatile,she is already the winner and this is my opinion.
At least give me the chance to be able to use this forum for my opinion and I hope that from now on people will stop crying like ‘srgmp’ and ‘dev09′ when I praise Sniti.

Dev 09, I’m from The Netherlands, Europe so what do you mean with regional influence?
what I meant by ‘regional influence’ is state based favouritism. e.g. if I’m originally from Punjab (and may be living outside Punjab) I still may prefer a pubjabi contestant’s performance over others.
N.B. : This was just an example so, people from Punjab please don’t feel bad. Also I live overseas for more than a decade and NOT from Punjab.
I agree with Dev09 and srgmp. I also love Sniti’s voice, but it doesn’t suit all type of songs. I also think that opinions must be respected. Express your opinions, but don’t say rude words about others comments. Ranjeet is also unique , but still has a long way to go and so goes for Sher Ali. I think that Sher Ali’s voice suits sufi songs very well. My favourite is Kamal, but I think that Bishakh is the one whose progress can clearly be seen and he is going to be a tough competitor for Kamal. Kamal, Sugandha, Abhilasha and Bishakh voices might not be unique, but they have the voice people enjoy hearing. I love Sher Ali’s and Khurram’s voice as well. Sher Ali’s voice is quite unique as well and very nice to hear.
Sniti and Ranjeet are definitely going to be future stars, but, let’s talk about the young generation,do you really think that they would like their style of songs?Would their songs be popular?
