Also present were Afshan and Dhairya with Manish Paul to spice up the show. Ali sher and Suganddha Mishrra were in bottom today while Kamal Khan was heighest voted contestant and Ranjeet Rajwada was 2nd. Kamal khan was yet again the star of the show, his performance was outstanding. Daler Mehndi also performed on today’s show, I liked his classical singing. We are down to Top 5 Saregamapa Contestant and after next week’s elimination we will have the finalists. Tomorrow Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan are coming on saregamapa singing sueprstar to promote the movie Break Ke Baad. Don’t forget to watch that episode is going to be another blast.

Good Performance by Kamal, Ranjeet and Daler Pa Jee. Ali’s elimination is fair. I think Abhilasha will be next to kamal in the finals not sure about the third one.Wajid did the best performance among the Judges. I am not from India but i love India and its people. Ok chalta hoon.
I am so… sorry to see the tiger go. His elimination seems fair only on the basis of his last week’s bad song choice. He did do justice to the Disco song but the others had better choices. Ali was truly a fighter and will be remembered. He did justice every time he took to the stage. Poor guy had been in the bottom three all through his stay, except for last week where he was the highest vote getter. Wajid’s comments have always been to the point. and because of his knowledge, his comments are very specific with no no sugar coating. Although I don’t think he got the recognition he deserved as a musically talented judge.
Good decision to eliminate Ali Sher.
This was a boring episode, who cares about qawalis really? So only one guy really did an OK job, Kamal, and the rest were poor. But even in that one song, he was basically shouting and it sounded very unpleasant. Not my idea of music.
A couple of them really sucked, but very few people in India care about qawalis, so nobody is going to be eliminated on the basis of their performance in it. Ranjeet will be the next one to leave, his voice has no dum.
The best singers/performers are Sugandha, Abhilasha and Kamal. I think Sugandha will win in the end, because of her superb voice, stage presence, looks, and endearing personality, athough the other two are technically a little better.
Kamal was mindblowing. In this episode, nobody could match up with him. I also like Ali Sher’s performance and I feel really sorry that he left. Ranjeet is still young but he was also great.
For Kamal- Receiving such a compliment from Abhijeet Da and the Queen of melody is a really great. Keep it up Kamal. He should be the Desh ki Dharkan again after this week’s performance.
I agree that Wajid’s comments are to the point, but it must always be like that, not just when Abhijeet DA and Alka Yagnik comes…. This applies to all judges. Sajid however must act do comedy instead of judging…
