Saregamapa Singing Superstar 20th November Bappi Lehri Special, Bollywood Music composer Bappi Lahiri surprised the saregamapa contestants when he gave away gold chains as a token of appreciation to all top 6 saregamapa contestants. Last week it was Hrithik Rishan giving away 1 Lakh to every contestant and now Bappi Da appreciated the contestants and encouraged them for more hard work. After Sniti Mishrra voted out today we are down to Top 6 contestants of saregamapa singing superstar with Kamal Khan, Abhilasha Chellum, Ali Sher, Bishakh Jyoti, Suganddha Mishrra and Ranjeet Rajwada. Pretty ordinary weekend on SAREGAMAPA. Ordinary to extremely ordinary performances by all. Are the singers and mentors wearing out? Bad song selections to worse singing. I just hope, remaining weekends are not such.

OMG..and Ali Sher was just out of control and his mind…lol Not a single line he sang in “sur”…he was bursting. This is how you sing????????????? Fun is one side but competition wise also…lol I am sure he is next to go after this performance…
I really liked Bishakh, Kamal and fantastic soothing ghazal by Ranjeet!
Abhilasha and Sugandha were nice but did not feel special voice :(
The show is really going to be very tough now as all are singing very well. if possible I would like to hear ” Hosh wallon ko khabar Kya ” gazal from Prince of Gazals Ranjit and ” Jo Khabo khayalo me socha nahi tha” from Kamal.

I agree with srgmp – the show was eh. Love is right about the tiger. I just wished he had picked a better song. Although I do think he did justice to the song with his energy. but you are right – he is going to pay the price next week.. Too bad, i liked his singing. Vikas you have great taste in songs. Great song picks., send it in to zee srgmp. I just wished they had gotten sonu nigam instead on the show.
I think, Ranjeet’s style is more like Ghualm Aliji or Menhdi Hasanji, than Jagjitji. However, have you heard ‘Tum nahi, gham nahi, sharaab nahi’ or ‘Der lagi aane me tum ko, shukr hai phir bhi aaye to..’ of Jgjitji? Ranjeet would run havoc with such.

Last time, few lines for Sniti lovers. After that, I have decided not to respond to their ‘nonsense’ (borrowed from Simran) or ‘XXXXgiri’ (borrowed from Shubhankar), unless it’s about singers, and not about me.
Shubhankar, aap ne Sniti ka ‘Hamen Tumse Pyaar Kitna..’ 100 baar suna, us se achchha hota, ke aap ne original gana sirf 1 baar sun liya hota! Aap ka bahot samay bach jata!! Aur, Sir, aap apni tabiyat sambhaliye, muje bahot chinta ho rahi hai aapki. Sniti ya Kamal, aap ko kuchh nahi denge, par aapki tabiyat aapki apni hai!!

Bishakh, Kamal and Abhilasha were mindblowing. Sher Ali has become mad- What the hell has he done….. He is such a good singer, but his madness will play against him…. He will surely get eliminated after this performance.
Sugabdha and Ranjeet were ok. But I love both of them. All the remaining contestants are so good.
For me , the 3 best are Kamal, Bishakh and Abhilasha… I just hope that Bishakh does not get eliminated. He is the one whose progress can clearly be seen and he has often been underrated.
I am with you Priyam. Bishak in last 2-3 episodes has improved his performace singificantly….though I still see tough competition between Sugandha and Bishak for the 3rd place. Kamal and Abhilasha have secured their places in top 3 for sure…..let’s see what happens in next few weeks.

Sugandha,Abhilasha and Kaamal are far better than Bishak…I dont see Bishak in top 3…Top 3 will be 1 Sugandha,Abhilasha and Kaamal for sure…..
Humein tumse pyaar kitna is one of the best renditions of Sniti in SRGMP. It is different from what Parveen Sultana has sung. Actually Parveen Sultana sang differently from what Kishore Kumar sang. People might comment “ye ka gaya . Kishore ka version kitna achha hai.”. Now people will say , Sniti kya gaya. Parveen ka version kitna achha hai. Actually those people who are very experts in classical singing and know the intricacies of raagas can modify any songs keeping the soul of the song intact. Mile sur mera tumhara has been sung in so many versions. Humne tumse pyaar kitna has three versions, Kishore Kumar, Prveen Sultana and Sniti versions. There is no original version for a classical singer. It is futile to compare with what Sniti has sung with Parveen Sultana’s version. Sniti has so many variations in the songs. Just listen the harkat at the end.
I think many of us are not qualified to comment on what Sniti has sung. She is a Sangeet Visharad from Gandharv University , Pune in hindustani classical. Many of us are just music lovers and listeners.
wow! really? I din’t know that she is a visharad in Music. She might be highly learned in music but honestly I personally didn’t enjoy her voice. If she has a large fan base, I wish she does well outside Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
