THIS Was the worst season in sare gama pa history. judges are not sitting their to judge but to enjoy and to do mazaq masti. yahan per singing ke upar mark nehin diya ja raha hai. sniti ko 9 marks diya to sajid ko jalaya aur comments karke 10 marks diya. agar apko acha nehin laga to 00 marks dijiye. ranjeet ke honesty ke upar 10 marks mil raha hai singing ke upar nehin. they are the worst judges in the sare gama pa history except shekhar .
Who are you to Judge. Just keep your mouth shut. The season was very good. Yes I agree with your mark to Sniti, She deserve 10 marks. She has beautiful and unique voice that you can not hear for 100 years. She will be much better after training – you will see. please be nice with these young and talented women and men.

I started watching SRGMP again after 10 years. The respect for this show has tremendously gone down, not because of the contestants. All are good, but this time i think mentors are not good. They sit like they are doing this forcefully, listening forcefully. They look bored from their face, no smile, no alertness. They are giving high marks to their own contestants. Sajid does not have a control on himself. Daler is always ready to show his “Badai” when some contestant is singing best. I laugh when A R Rehman came he reacted so funny.
Every judge is keep telling “dhyan dijiye dhyan dijiye” ..Kab tak???? Bas aur thoda this and that????
Plus bringing actors to the show, especially those who dont know anything about music at all e.g. Malika Sherawat has put the show more on the down side rather than the pure talent show. I still she that simplicity in Sniti, Ranjeet and Fareed. Poor Ranjeet, i am scared that they will sacrifice him for Sniti and Abhilasha.
Contestants are very talented if they train them properly. Bring Ashaji, Jagjeetji, some legends to the show!!! These judges comments are sooooooooo ….. I hope it gets better!!

FROM BEGINNING TO THE END AND THE SINGERS HOW THEY IMPROVED. THIS YEAR CONTESTANT WERE ALSO GOOD BUT THEY WERE NOT SINGING AS MUCH BETTER AS LIL CHAMPS 2010. Hi Mr. Partab, Thanks for the clarification. I am so sorry that I was a little rude on my first comment. I did not mean to insult you at all. I just fall in love with Indian Music, especially Ghazals. I can not tolerate, man; I can not tolerate to hear anybody say something about Sniti. I know you did not say anything about her or anybody else. You are absolutely correct, all of them are fantastic. I really admire them a lot. The only think I like about Sniti, is because she has a unique and heavenly voice, she looks so innocent, simple and a true Indian girl-I am praying for her in my whole heart.
You know I am not from India, but I love Indian People. I have not watched previous, episodes of 2007,08 and 09 of this show, this is my first time watching on the internet. I do not have Zee TV channel.
I suggest to Zee TV instead of bringing inexperienced judges, like this groups, they should invite true legend like Jagjit sing, Ghulam Ali, RD Rahman, Some other Versitile musicians, not Sajid Wajid, or Wishall and Shakher and so and so. I do not know about them at all. When they are singing, I do not like them at all. They are just jumping and make screams. They are worse than the compotators. Listen to Kamal, Abhilash, Sniti, Ranjet and others, they are heart breaking.

I agree with love and earth. Judge Sajid acted so cheap when Malika Sherawat came. Apart from Shekar and Vishal, the mentors are so bad. Such poor judgements . Sajid Wajid rate their contestants so high. Judges are being so impartial. Daler Mehendi’s comments are just ridiculous. I think that others should learn from Vishal and Shekhar. Shekhar is so nice, but yet he does point out the mistakes. I really appreciate Vishal as he points out the mistakes when there is need for and prases the contestants when they do well. That’s how judges should be as this is the only way to success. The progress graph of contestants has been quite low. Lets take Abhilasha- She was really mindblowing when she came. By now this girl should have been phenomenal.
Hopefully, Manish is here to cheer everyone up. Good job Manish- Keep it up.
I think that the next one to go is Nakul or Sher Ali. If I had to nominate 4 with lowest marks, it would be Nakul, Sher Ali, Khurram and Bishakh. I must say that the 3 girls are very strong. Kamal Khan and Ranjeet are the strongest among the boys

well, after reading above posts, following are my 2 cents worth …
As far as judges concern, I agree, except Vishal & Shekhar, other three are hopeless. Wajid is WAY TOO cheap esp on Malika Sherawat’s show. At least maintain the dignity of this stage. Daler is absolutely clueless on his remarks. All what he says is “Rab Rakha…Chhak De patey.” As someone rightly said, bring people like Jagjit singh, Ashaji, Anuradha Paudwal, Kavitha Krishomoorthy etc as judges.
As far as contestants, I still can’t click with Sniti Mishra’s voice. Dunno but her voice is too high pitch and more like a nasal singer. Apologies if I’ve hurt any of Sniti’s fans. I had a very great respect for Abhilasha (and still have as afar as her singing ability goes). Though I lost my respect for her as an individual when she most likely made a deliberate mistake as a chorus during Mampee’s performance….it was more of a planned sabotage to me. I’m still in shock to see Shreyasi go….she was a top 3 material for sure…at least way better than Sniti. Kamal khan and Sugandha are amazing singers. Rajwada need to be more versatile. Rest are average except that new classical singer from delhi.
Overall I enjoy the show except the judges. ;-)

I am agreeing with the most parts of your comment, but I am not agreeing with you about Sniti. I completely understand your point about her ability of singing with SORE etc. but we need to give her a chance. Here are the reasons that I like her voice the most:
1- Her voice is absolutely is new in the industry, like other legends Lata, Asha, Ms. Ghoshal, Yalknik … etc- everyone of these singers has there own unique voice. This is a great deal to have a new voice time to time in the music industry. If she gets chance and train more, believe me she will be the new star in the music world.
2- She is her own; I mean she wants to be herself. She is not trying to copy others. Look her eyes, the way she dresses, the smile on her face sometime, her simplicity, these are all qualities that a traditional Indian girl has.
3- She has the ability to sing Ghazal very well, however, she needs to improve some parts of SORE, but overall she is fantastic. Please listen once more with open mind, Sniti’s previous Ghazal carefully and deeply, you will find amazing tone on her voice that you have never heard it before. That is very important in the music field.
I like Abhilasha and Kamal too. They sing very beautiful and there is no question about their singing quality at all, but their voice look to me are not new and when you listen to them you think that you hard this voice before too. This is what I am concern about it otherwise they deserve my 100% approval rate.
Every music lovers should seek a new style, new voice and support it to enrich as much as we can the industry. India has the only country that produces great singers, high level compositors and music directors in that region even around the world. Certainly you are proud of it, I am too although I am not an India, but I am considering myself as an Indian Music Lover.

Agree that Sniti does have a very *distinct* voice though still there is a difference between distinct voice and a voice you would love to keep listening. On the other note, everyone’s got different test when it comes to singers\songs. I still like someone with a close voice quality of Lataji, Shreya Ghoshal or Anuradha Paudwal but then it’s just my test. So, nothing is like right\wrong.
NB: I was looking at the contestant’s profiles on the official website of SaReGaMaPa and was impressed to see that Sniti is pursuing her MBA..very gifted individual for sure.
mr dev sniti was much better than shreyasi. shreyasi only sing simple songs. she does not pronounce the words well. abhilasa,sniti,sugandha, kamal and farid are the bests.

Agree Shreyasi had accent problems but one can get over it with some practice. I was blown away with her last performance…Khurram was way out of mark in that song. Still Daler somehow criticised both heavily…not sure what Daler paji is up to these days..

Hi, I guess some of you are listening to the singers, for example Sniti for just last two three episodes.
Listen to them from the beginning and then you will have an idea how potential singers they are actually.
And to appreciate unique voices like that of Sniti, one has to be a true lover of music only.
Iagree with you Ananta. You know the last 3 songs of her are not her style. She is not good at versatile singing. She is fantastic with Ghazals. Her previous songs are so heart breaking. If she goes with versatile songs, she will lose. Whoever selects her songs should know and give her some advice to choose some shongs, at least a few lines of ghazals.

Come Down please. I do like Sniti very much too and I am going to vote for her in the future, but we should respect other opinions also. This is not right to say such a comment to each other. You know, I agree with Romeo that she pronounces certain words incorrectly. I mean she can not pronounce Word of (S) accurately, instead she pronounces (SJ or SH) for example she says “Nushrat or Nasjer” instead of Nusrat or Nazar.
I agree with Love that Sniti is very good on soft songs but not in fast or pop songs.
I want to point out that, in one point Devo9 answered me that Sniti has “distinctive” voice. Yes Mr. Dev09 that is exactly I meant. Her voice is recognizable; when you listen once a song from her you will remember it for ever that, this voice is from Sniti. Every great singer has a distinct voice like Lata, Asha, Ghoshal, Chouhan etc. That is I like about Sniti – She only needs some more training to raise her level up to the top. She has all other qualities like a suit texture in her voice. You may disagree with me, as you said this is my test as well as all other funs of Sniti. Good luck to all of contestant. Asif

I agree. Sniti’s voice suits only soft songs. When she tries fast songs..it looks ordinary heavy voice. She is talented but judges esp Vishal since he likes her voice…giving her too much marks!!..lol

Excellent! I knew despite what happens in these type of shows, some of the tealented contestants will do exceptionally well outside in Bollywood. As Shekar said about Sniti “I can’t wait to buy a CD of Mamppe” :)
I find very sexist, the girls are far much better singers than the boys. How’s it possible, they get cut out of the competitions.
Dunno or can’t honestly comment about others but Mampee’s exit was in the *interest of few* people on this show (you know what I mean)…that’s what I hate about these type of reality show that the real talent may disappear in early stages due to *other* reasons which has nothing to do with their performance. When Mamppee exited, judges were giving marks…so take your guess.. ;-)

I also love Sniti’s voice a lot, but it doesn’t suit all type of songs. Sometimes her voice is too shaky. But her Chandni ratein was mindblowing-seems that it is still on my mind.I think that Kamal is the best singer this year
