I am very disappointed that Himesh´s gharana has won again.
But Vaishali is an excellent singer. She deserves it.
I hope the other top singers of this year´s edition do very well and get to sing many songs with top music directors.

I havent seen this episode, since there is no one interesting left to watch. I just wanted to say, that i think Yashita deserved to win this competition. Soumen seems like he is a good human being. I wouldnt have minded if Soumen won this competition, unless Adesh Shrivastav was his mentor. I think one of the main reasons why Soumen lacked some votes, is because people such as me, did not like the comments that Adesh gave on Zaheer’s elimination. KYA KAREIN SOUMEN PAAJI, AATEH MEH GUN BHI PISTA HAI.
I dont think that Vaishali deserved to win this competition, however, im quite happy that she actually did win. The only reason for this is Vaishali’s mentor Himesh. I must admit that i didnt like Himesh in the beginning, but after seeing how he doesnt discriminate between indian and Pakistani singer, ive started appreciating him.
I wish Zaheer and Sara were also present in the finals, they are awesome singers. SARA BAHOT PALI PALI HAI AUR ZAHEER BHAI KI KYA BAAT HAI. Before my statement creates a conflict, let me just say that i also like the voices of indian singers such as Yashita, Pratibah, Debojit and Tarun.
One more thing, i dont like the way Asma hosts the shows. She seems really confused, its really annoying the way she purposely makes mistakes. BARIH AJEEB BAAT HAI KE USKI DICTION ABHI TAK THEEK NAHEE HUWI, OOPER SE USKE KAPREH DIN BA DIN AUR CHOTE HOTE JA RAHE HAI,TERI MAA KYA SOCHE GI, AGAR UNKO TERE GANA GANEH PE ITNA EHTERAAZ HAI TO SOCH TERE NANGEPAN PE KITNA EHTERAAZ HOGA, KUCH TO SHARAM KAR LE! Aditya on the other hand is really funny, confident and sweet. I personally think that Aditya alone is enough to host saregamapa.

Congratulations to Vaishali. She deserved to win this award. I found all of her performances flawless. Soumen also kept up the standard and Yashita was no less. I enjoyed the whole show since the beginning.

a big disappointment as it’s getting boring this show as the winning contestant from another contest win this one too even entering the show in the middle of the competition. i completely disagree that vaishali win as even i was for Pratibha but i would have been happier to see yashita as winner because from the final last three she’s the only real contestant of challenge 2009 as she’s here since the beginning.A request to the production NOT to repeat this again next time. otherwise organize a show especially for winners from different competitions and name it champion of the champions.
I am too much surprised that Indian media still so much depressed and confused after mumbai attacks, or may be propaganda to promote thereself innocent child that do not know, how it happens with them.
In Pakistan plenty of terrorist attacks on daily basis but we never cry in front of worldwide media, although we have proof of involvement of RAW to support Balouchistan Liberation party but still we quiet because until or unless we do not have 100% proof, we don’t blame others. While India without any proof starting blame game and still crying, and I wish they will cry forever!!!
At one time this show used to be respectable when the mentors (gurus) were knowledgeable about the singing quality as opposed to popularity. Please see old episodes of this show that were hosted by Sony Nigam. They are still available on You Tube.
As far as this program is concerned, it is not a fair competetion, much less a faor singing competetion. Case in point, Emran Hashmi episode; Asma Mohd. Rafi in any episode; etc. etc. This is all a gimmick to gain viewership (TRP). In my opinion, the format of the show is backwards. The early eliminations need to happen based on popularity contest and the remaining people need to be judged by maha gurus to determine the winner of the contest.
How can any show be credible where a talented singer like Shujaat Ali Khan gets eliminated in ealy rounds of the vishwa yudh yet a singer like Asma remains in the top 6 contestants. What is her claim to fame? Mere Oont Ko Danda Kisne Mara???
