Saregamapa challenge 2009 sufi song special on 17th October. We will be down to 10 contestants this week as one of the 11 contestants will get eliminated tonight. This episode also contains review of the saregamapa show. Zaheer Abbas get the sangeet chakra and he is the top contestant of this week. Zaheer abbas from lahore, pakistan is just becoming superb another histroy performance by him today. Pratibha is 2nd topper and soumen is 3rd.

I have been noticing lately, the contestants are using their past and sad stories to gain sympathy votes. This is especially very obvious in Vaishali’s case who seems to be always bringing up her past in every episode. Everyone one has a past and sad story to tell. Be a professional, if you really think you have talent, use your talent to get votes. This is a singing contest. Getting the first prize in Saregamapa is not going to assure you a future. Improving and excelling in your singing quality is what is going to give you success eventually in your singing career and popularity with the public.

all the participants are excellent, especially the final 10!they are all well deserving!Tarun, Sara, Zaheer Abbas, Vaishali, Pratibha and Debojit ROCK!aditiya on the other hand needs to stop referring to the contest as a competition between India, Pakistan n Oman…it is a singing competition and will be won by the most deserving singer, it is not a battle of the COUNTRIES!!!!!
I am a sri lankan Following this Program. Its Grate to see the participants Talent… Sometime i feel its so beautiful compared to the original track.
The Mr. Shankar’s Comments and the attitude towards the participants is really grate.
I too agree with gawjus… that Program should not show that its a competition between countries… but countries can be used to introduce the singer…(even that is not required cos we know all the participants very well…)

This is not about gaining vote sympathy i think.
The way she got the compliments of the judges,
by her last 2 performences,makes she tells what is
in her heart.
And that is not wrong.She is improving and what is wrong to tell
people about what happened to her?

i really like a programme compare to others. its a programme where we can listen true singer. iwatch this programme since three years in first year my favourite singer is vineet in second raja and in third i like zaheer. all the best
I would agree that Aditya should stop making it sound like a cricket match where one has to support one’s country.
Voters should vote for the best singer. Aditya’s comments would start putting bias in people’s hearts and make them vote for their country rather than a good singer. This would be everybody’s loss.
My personal favs are Debojit, Sara and Zaheer. They are a cut above the rest.

first of all i would like to congratulate Zaheer cuz he is the first pakistani till now who gets the sangeet chakra and i think there was no need for asma to create a fuss on the show. if your mother has left you than thats your own problem. plz dont try to get sympathy votes from janta and i know janta knows better than you who is good or who is not. i want ot request janta that plz open your ears and give votes to the right person not asma or debojit. the weakest contenders of the show. and once again zaheer rocks. jai mata di lets rock, rock the world!

Regarding the above mentioned I would like to enquire Is there any Singing competations for the age group between 30 to 40?
If not why? As Myself I am 36yrs waiting for a plat form sir/Madam.
Last time when went to garuda mall to Register my name after there was advertisement in 91.1Fm radio they didn’t mention any age crieteria. They ignored because my age was 36,I requested them that it was only 02 months passed as my age turned to 36(DOB was 15th July 1972),But they said sorry.
Kindly inform me if there are any competations further.
