Saregamapa challenge 2009 down to top 10 contestants, one of them will be eliminated tonight. Every contestant is confused about elimination. Yashita is the topper again, the big boy Debojit dutta is 2nd and the great voice of saregamapa maratthi winner vaishali is 3rd this week.

The producers of this show need psychiatric evaluation for allowing the humiliation of someone as sweet and talented as Asma. When will Indian TV understand that ratings and money is not everything?
Asma brings a lot to the boring lineup of “talented” singers this year in terms of entertainment value.
And the other contestants esp Shujat Khan (another Pakistani moronic MCP) should be flogged publicly for their hatred and jealousy.
If this is what Indian entertainment has become, then I hang my head in shame.

Talking abt the episode, Zee has stepped down to a level of beggar who will say anything to increase sympathy in the heart of people and donate. Zee TV and saregamapa team is doing this drama to get high TRP as they are down in 40′s at the moment.
How badly I wish i could see singers of the talent of Musarrat, Raja hasan and Amanat again in saregamapa challenge 2009.

First of all….I am a female human being before anything else.I will not stand for the mistreatment of women which unfortunately most Pakistani males and their leaders do very well. I have absolute statistics to prove this.
Why do you, Mr Perfect Indian, not wish to see the talents of Pratibha and Sara as well? Why dont you urge your fellow 4th std pals to vote for some female that can sing? Why do these brain dead shows continue to put females at the bottom pile….
And I speak from experience when I say that Shujat with his disrespect of women and stupid comments to heroines is yet another bad public example to youth everywhere.

As far as Shujaat’s comments are concerned, he is just a kid and what he said was only depicting his age, in Islam women have every right for divorce and they are given more rights and personally what all these Pakistani contestants are doing is not Islamic. For eg, touching feet, Sara saying main Allah ki raza say jetun gi, going to Mazaars and bowing and praying to Khawaja ji, this is all unislamic and music is not allowed in Islam. What they are doing is just fine with me as long as they don’t bring Allah’s name in it. None of them know the real Islam so I think they should stop talking about Allah and just concentrate on what they are there to do. And as far as Asma is concerned I am sure her mother leaving her had nothing to do with her singing and Zee is just making a mockery out of the whole thing. What kind of a mother would leave her child just because she wants to sing.I’ve never heard of such a thing in my life.Finally I would just like to say all the Pakistani’s should just concentrate on singing and be a sport and please don’t bring Allah into it and please don’t depict wrong picture of Islam

I would like to comment on Sara Raza Khan that she is fantastic singer and i must appriciate on her efforts for singing and doing very well for Pakistan. Some people dont like her to sing in India thats why they are talking negative about her, but she must go on and look forward to win the contest. My all prays for her. and no comments on Zaheer b.cos he is just mind blowing and fantastic singer. am sure that if there would not be baise decisions than these both mush win. God bless them.

- All knows that it will be there off course as you saw last time Amanat was the best and Aneek the worst won the competition
- THis time i think the worst singer will be the winner i am sure
- As for the comment for the Asma i only want to say that the people like Debojit or others who are hidden behind now they are also part of it.

- Yashita – Good Singer and a confident girl, but she will be out soon
- Pratibha – I like pratibha – she is a genuine singer with classical training
- Shumen – Tarun – they are Stupid singers and are taking the symphaty and they have fan following. so i must say

I see some people getting all emotional about Asma, honestly speaking what all other contestants said about her made total sense. Asma is a pathetic singer, and this is not ‘indian laughter show’. based on her singing abilities, she should have been kicked out episodes ago.
All other remaining participants are pretty nice and may the best one win.

Comments that have been made in the show today should have not been made as its not the contestants place to make personal comments to hurts someones feelings. Well done Asma for forgiving them all, it takes alot to be the bigger person. But i still think that they owe you an apology in the same way as im personaly upset of this disgraceful behaviour by the others as a proggramme such as SaReGaMaPa is above petty childish behaviour like this. I would aslo ask Aditya not no ask what country will win as it doesnt matter because this challange is about finding a unique voice and not countries.
Whats gone wrong with the contestants? Have their heads swelled up so much with the little popularity they have got in this show, that they can forget their humanatarian side and say whatever they feel about their fellow contestant? Or is Saregamapa show paying or forcing them to give such remarks to increase the drama in the show and thus TRP ratings?
We all know Asma is not equal in singing versatality or capability like the rest. But she has her own genre and is showing improvement. I am sure in time she will catch up. But probably not in time for the contest. None of these contestants have reached so high or experienced in their singing career to give commentary on another singer’s capability. Please keep your foot still on the ground!
And what is this with giving comments and then hugging and making up? Does it make any sense? Yashita was saying that Tarun Jai mataji after each bad word. What is she doing? hugging after making bad comments and standing by Asma on the stage? Debojit correct your own pronounciation before you comment about others. For a special Child, he doesnt seem to be a sadhu at all!
Pratibha seems like the only person who is concentrating on her singing and not in all this politics. I was disappointed with Zaheer. Infact I have lost all respect for the rest of the contestants!
Aditya, before he brings more differentiation beteen India and Pakistan, must realize, his family is not from India originally. How would he feel if someone keeps reminding him that he is not an Indian and in Indian soil!

I am very disappointed with October 24th episode, I cannot believe that anyone can allow people to comment on someone’s personal life like they did on that show. First of all, all the contestants who said these tasteless comments about Asma needs to look under their own nose…you are not perfect either, what about all the Drama that Sara brings in this show for being all fake, and Sujad what is your mother up to dude? For you to take notice on Asma’s mom, and what after all do you know about Islam? First read and understand the Quran…oh can you understand anything that is written in the Quran…since it is written in Arabic…and most of the translations that Urdu Quran does are nothing but lies. Debujit…look at your ugly face man…what the hell are you? Man or Big foot? Asma is much better as a person and singer that any of you…she has been improving the most from the time she has been here, why don’t you learn Arabic and sing Arabic songs and tell us the meaning word by word you A-holes. I totally agree to what pakozi is saying. Farzana shouldnt have said that most of the urdu translations of the Quran are lies, because they arent. The main message of the Quran might not have been coneveyed as well in urdu compared to arabic. Since a single arabic word has many meanings in urdu, people might get a bit confused. But if you translate the arabic words in contexts, you are bound to get the message, if you have sense and knowledge of islamic history.

I am soo sorry… its not my place to say but If you don’t know then i think you should know that India and pakistan was one country before!!so y does it matter?(for all the people that saying that a hindus going to win) and (Mannat)… and there are still mosques (haji ali) in India where hindus go and temples that muslim people go to. In my opinion Debojit is the best singer in the entire competition while on the ohter hand asma is the worst.She may be cut and whatever bbut her singing is really horrific.The judges on the program also need to be honest with her as a contestant and not try to make her feel good about herself at the expense of the good singers on the program.
The 33rd episode of Saregamapa 2009 clearly reflects cheap tactics of Zee Team to increase their TRP ratings. They just want to add masala to this program. In fact what is this talent show for? Are they really bringing out the singing talent? If you watch this show, everyweek each contestant would discuss about their family or private life. Zee team propogated this as “sangeet ka Viswayudh”. Do India,Pakistan and Oman complete the world? Everybody knows if people are watching Saregamapa 2009, just because of Asma. Now this show is not at all Sangeet show. I feel vey bad about shakar mahadevan like great singers are part of this bloody stuff.
If u see according music talent really Asma shouldn’t be here. But yes I accept my friend who mentioned that nobody can sign an arabic like Asma sings Hindi song? One has to appreciate her dedication and she really has been improving both speaking n singing in Hindi.
