  There is no doubt that kamal is really a great singer but i really didnot like abhijeet comments.. i just want to say one thing in singing he done well but i have heard this song sooooooooooooooooo many times i tell you the energy level wasnot matching. Before commenting i will request abhijeet if u want to hear nusrat fateh ali khan songs you should just check youtube in _MUSSARAT ABBAS… he has a bad luck believe me if he was born in india today he might BE superstar.. but truth is no one care for talent and after all he is pakistani..
  . i would request sajid wajid, vishaal and shekhar ( who used to admire him alot ) and also hamesh jee who used to admire him alot… give him chance he can do better than many who are there singing sufi songs..
  In india if you are looking for sufi singer, then the new talent is SHADAAB… not kamal… kamal is good for songs like sikwander type.. not qawali type songs. i hope every one take this in postive sense….

    Hi Sufi, please ignore Abhijit. He himself was really good talent, but just because of his attitude, and not knowing what to say when, he is what he is now. Kamal sang the song great, but Abhijit definitely didn’t need to put him over “all” Pakistani singers.

    On the other hand, although Kamal is noway close to Nusaratji, he has something special in his voice, which makes you want to listen to his performances again and again. You can not take that away from him. He sings any type of song in his own way, and still sounds just great.

      I agree with u, there is no comparison with Nusrat ji but this guy is special….he connects at all levels…he sings with a feel…and u listen to him and close ur eyes and u can actually visualize the whole song..and thats what sets him apart!! when ppl say he is not versatile , I really wonder…do we need clones of grt singers who at the end of the day are just clones or do we need someone who is unique and excels at being unique?? I dont think bisaikh or sugandha are going to go big since there are so many others who can sing like them….But Kamal is different …he sings a song and makes it “HIS SONG” and thats the hallmark of a grt singer…..way to go Kamal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  hello every one…. i totally agree ith srgmp guys there is no doubt about talent and singing maturity of kamal. he is mind blowing. but i personally feel you need alot of energy for qawali and sufi songs. yes certainly sur taal and voice .. all factors are important but energy level has foremost importance. like sukwinder jee songs you have to sing song with great energy same like if you have heard abida parveen songs and sufi qalams..

  if i was composer and if i was allowed to give chance to new talent then i would certainly went for the 2………. voice that touched my heart is abhilasha and then sniti mishra………

  i feel that abhijeet while praising Kamal did not mean that kamal surpassed Nursath saab, he just meant he surpassed others who attempted to sing the same. The sight of kamal accepting the praises calmly and continuing to nurture the song in his wondeful voice was like that of a mother nursing a child in a crowd! Very endearing and heart-warming. May God Bless him with everything that is worthy.

  Kamal sing this quawali in the same quawali style, he sings with full confidence and energy, really he makes it quawali environment.
