Abhishek Mukherjee in his first audition at Mumbai, sang his heart out and it was Daler Mehndi who unanimously selected him for mega audition. Though the song was offbeat but it had potential enough to judges of Zee Saregamapa Singing Superstar.
Abhishek Mukherjee was selected from Mumbai audition of Hero Honda Saregamapa Singing Superstar. In mega audition initially judges falsely rejected him which was gracefully accepted by Abhishek Mukherjee, but it was just a twist, as he was already selected among top 18 contestant of Hero Honda Zee Saregamapa Singing Superstar 2010. Abhisek Mukherjee family lives in Mumbai. Father of Abhishek Mukherjee is in a job but have a great passion for music and mother of Abhishek Mukherjee too belongs to musical family and encourage his son at every step.
